ANNOUNCEMENTS
IMPORTANT STUFF AND THINGS YOU MUST KNOW
We are limiting the amount of paper and postage we have been using to cut back on costs. This seems to be a better thing to cut back on than fabric, thread, customer service or anything as important. Please go to www.sewwhatquilts.com or come into the store to find out details about the following. Also, the website will have more information about new notions, fabrics, yarns, books, etc., as they arrive. We intend to update the website monthly at the least.
COCK-A-DO-DLERS BREAKFAST PAJAMA PARTY
Wear your pajamas
Bring your sewing project
If you do, we will:
Give you breakfast and lots of coffee
Give you 25% off any purchases
Put you in for hourly drawings and the grand door prize
All this for sewing in your PJ’s.
We will be doing this twice – once on Saturday May 3rd and again on Saturday, July 19th.
We will be sewing from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM
Doors close after 5:30 AM. Be sure and get here on time!
REDDING QUILT SHOW
Look for specials at our booth at the Quilter’s Sew-Ciety of Redding show on May 10th and 11th. Wear your wrist band to the store and receive 25% off one purchase, plus other specials.
SISTERS OUTDOOR QUILT SHOW
We will be open Sunday, July 6TH, for those of you traveling North to the Sisters Quilt Show to attend classes. We will again be open on Sunday, July 13TH, for those of you traveling home southbound on I-5. Hours for each Sunday are 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
NOLI wants to celebrate
her BIRTHDAY with haven humane again
Noli had so much fun last year and the year before that she wants to do it again. Even though she had a great time at the party, her favorite part was taking all the food and toys to Haven Humane and sharing it. We are celebrating her birthday on Saturday, August 9th. Bring some food or a toy and get some cake. By the way, for those of you with extra cat food -- Maggie asked Noli if she’d take cat food or toys and she said she would – cats need as much love as dogs.
We don’t have picutres of last year’s party -- what kind opf partents are we???

FAIRY FROST CHALLENGE
We ordered the whole line of Fairy Frost – not knowing how much Fairy Frost there really is. It just keeps arriving at the store. Right now we have 74 bolts and UPS keeps bringing more!
So we decided we’d challenge everyone to make something out of the Fairy Frost. A panel of unbiased judges will decide who wins. There will be no judging rules except that the judges will not know who made the item. From there, the judges will determine which one they really like and that will be the winner.
The winner will receive a $100 Sew What Gift Certificate.
Here are the few rules that we have:
It can be anything: pieced quilt, appliqué, wall hanging, doll, art quilt, etc.
50% of the item must be made out of Fairy Frost
Deadline for entries is June 1st.
All items will be displayed in the store until the winner is announced.
